Donna vividly recalls watching her mom play in the Bungalow Colony in the Catskills during her childhood. While she knew a bit about the game, She had never really played it myself. After a quick crash course from my neighbor, she was thrown into the game. For over a year, she found herself frustrated and lost. Donna thought the rules felt complicated, and she wasn’t sure how to fit everything together. But, she didn’t give up. She kept going, believing that if her mother could play, she could too!

Fast forward, today Mah Jongg is now not only a part of her life, it’s a passion. She's become an active teacher, tournament organizer, and advocate, raising thousands of dollars for Alzheimer’s research through Mah Jongg events.
