Molly Conway is a proud mother of two, Sophia and Ethan, dog mom to Bella, and a Registered Nurse. Raised in a family where games like Euchre, Rummy, and Cribbage were a cherished part of gathering together, Molly developed an early appreciation for connection, friendly competition, and community.
Her journey with American Mahjongg comes full circle through the influence of her beloved grandmother, affectionately known as Granny, who organized Mahjongg leagues and clubs everywhere she lived. As a teenager, Molly viewed Mahjongg as simply a pastime for older women, never fully appreciating its rich traditions or the meaningful connections it fostered.
Today, decades later, she has discovered the joy, strategy, and sense of community that make Mahjongg so enduring. As an instructor, Molly is honored to carry on her grandmother’s legacy by teaching traditional American Mahjongg with respect for its history while embracing the beauty and modernization of the game’s evolving aesthetic. Through every lesson, she strives to create an inviting environment where players can learn, connect, and celebrate together.
