Robyn first Learned to play Mahjong with her mother, living on a Military Base in Australia.

Life, Family and career pulled Robyn away for over 30 years, but she has returned to the game she loved as a young adult. Teaching and Real Estate has taught Robyn a variety of skills that she implements in her teaching style.

Robyn teaches Mahjong with a blend of patience, fun and enthusiasm. She loves introducing new players to the beauty of the tiles, and helping returning players sharpen their strategy. Robyn’s classes are relaxed, supportive, and full of laughs, making every lesson an enjoyable escape and a chance to build friendships. Her lessons start with fundamentals- tile recognition, table etiquette, building a hand, defensive play- and growing into strategy.

Robyn’s goal is to make Mahjong feel approachable for everyone, even to her 6-year-old granddaughter. No question is too small; every mistake is a part of learning. She tries to blend warm tradition with modern strategy in hands on lessons from beginners onwards.
