Although newer to the game, Traci quickly fell in love with American Mah Jongg and was immediately captivated by its blend of strategy, social connection, and lifelong learning. Inspired by the friendships and joy she found around the table, She became an accredited instructor with the goal of sharing the game with others in Greater Lafayette.

In 2026, she launched Mahjong Social West Lafayette to create welcoming opportunities for people of all ages and experience levels to learn, play, and build community through the game. When she's not teaching or playing mah jongg,
